  1. Do you provide materials?

Yes, we provide a turn key construction process which includes providing all labor and materials required to complete a job.

 

2. What vendors do you use?

We have pre-negotiated programs with most major vendors. Some vendors we use: Kohler, Wolf, Sub-zero. In addition we are a cabinet dealer or Aristokraft, Diamond & Dura Supreme.

 

3. Can we use outside subcontractors?

Unfortunately, no. Our team of subcontractors have been trained on our systems on our systems and maintain strict criteria specified by our insurance carriers.

 

4. How long will my project take?

We allow 60 days for design, 30 days for permit acquisition and anywhere from 2-12 months depending on the size & scope of the project.

 

5. Do I have to move out during construction?

We recommend moving out for all major projects. We have resources for packing, moving and storage. Smaller kitchen & bath projects can be completed while still living on site.

 

6. What are construction work hours.

We work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Some Saturdays work may be utilized during some phases of the build.

 

7. Will workers be at my project every day?

Workers will be onsite according to the build schedule, which is view-able from our mobile app. There may be days where workers are not on site pending material delays or scheduling conflicts. We do however take this into account when projecting our building schedules.

 

8. Can I make changes during the build?

Yes, Change orders can be facilitated at any time during construction but may result in additional cost and an extension of the building schedule.

 

9. What are the most challenging and stressful phases of construction?

Many of our clients have a difficult time during the rough/ and mechanical phase as this is generally the most disruptive.

 

10. How are payments structured?

Larger projects are run through a bond loan/ title company and facilitated by Silver leaf Construction at each draw. Projects can also be financed directly to SLC by the owner through progress payments at key phases of the build.
